Core Team
Ryan is the founder of Ballpoint Marketing and one of the early pioneers of handwritten direct mail for acquisitions. Frustrated by the weak response rates of yellow letters and cheap postcards, he helped popularize “birthday-style” invitation mailers, sparking a new standard in the industry. A serial entrepreneur, Ryan has built multiple businesses in real estate, franchising, and call services, many of which still use Ballpoint mailers to drive deal flow.
When he’s not building companies, you’ll find Ryan paragliding or spending time with his wife and kids.
Justin is the CEO and co-founder of Ballpoint Marketing. He cut his teeth managing a call center and later took over the production side of Ballpoint, growing it into one of the largest direct mail companies in real estate and home services. Along the way, he’s bought businesses, acquired properties using the same mailers we sell, and scaled multiple teams to seven figures.
Off the clock, Justin’s usually outdoors camping or traveling with his wife and three kids.
Matt keeps the gears turning, and the robots in line :) . As Production Manager, he oversees the entire physical side of your campaign: from handwriting machines and printers to inserters and quality control. If it gets mailed, Matt made sure it was done right. He also happens to be Justin Dossey’s brother-in-law, making this operation even more of a family affair.
When he’s not wrangling robots or fine-tuning print runs, you’ll catch Matt fishing, watching Cardinals baseball, spending time with family, or planning his next trip.
Tanya is the go-to for keeping your campaign on track and stress-free. She processes incoming orders, cleans up mailing lists, creates digital proofs, and makes sure everything gets scheduled on time. She’s also the friendly voice on the other end of the line, helping clients with questions, pulling lists, and tracking orders from start to finish.
When she’s off the clock, Tanya enjoys spending time with her family, watching soccer games, heading out on nature walks, and curling up with a good book.
Dan brings a seasoned perspective to the team, helping shape marketing strategy and guiding the big-picture direction of our campaigns. As the father of founders Justin and Ryan, Dan’s role keeps things all in the family and all aligned. Whether it’s brainstorming new offers, fine-tuning positioning, or keeping us focused on what really matters, he’s the guy we turn to for clarity.
Outside of work, Dan’s usually traveling, camping, fishing, hitting the beach, or exploring the outdoors with his family.
Vince wears many hats on the team—and just as many at home. Whether he’s helping guide projects internally or supporting clients behind the scenes, he brings steady leadership and a family-first mindset to everything he does. With five kids, he’s no stranger to multitasking or staying cool under pressure.
Outside of work, Vince is usually at a game, recital, or school play—cheering, applauding, or capturing the moment. He and his wife are also avid foodies who love a good date night and spontaneous adventures.
