"After receiving a degree in 3D Animation from the Art Institute in Denver, I was captivated by the idea of transforming a flat image into one with shadows and depth, allowing the viewer to see into it, rather than just looking at it. Years later, after a lengthy experimentation and development process, I expanded on that original idea to create something new. By blending various artistic techniques and methodically painting thousands of raised acrylic dots, I create dramatic images that provide a unique visual experience and the illusion of depth.
